Welcome Message from the Principal

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the 2009-2010 school year at Del Paso Heights Elementary School!  As principal, I look forward to working with all parents so that our students will have an outstanding educational experience.  I like to be visible around campus, and have an open door policy for all students, staff, and parents.

One of my most important goals is to keep you informed about activities, news and happenings here at school.  You can look forward to regular updates on this website, as well as timely communication about all important Explorer events.  If at any time you feel you are not receiving news from school in a timely manner, please contact the office.  I want all parents to be “in the loop” on the events at Del Paso.

Parents are always welcome at school.  There are many ways for you to be involved in your child’s education:  volunteering in a classroom, being a member of the School Site Council, and helping teachers with projects are a few of the ways.  Your positive, involved presence on campus promotes a feeling of community and family that will only strengthen our efforts.  As students see parents and teachers working together, they come to better understand the meaning of teamwork.

If you have any questions or concerns, or just want to say hello, please feel free to contact me at school, or via email.  I am looking forward to another great school year.

Go Explorers!
